Milenko is a Chilean-born American cinema editor whose work is driven by a belief in cinema's unique way of seeing can bridge lives across culture, distance, and experience.
His most recent work as AE is Bring Me the Beauties, a documentary series for HBO Documentary Films directed by Emmy-nominated director Chris Smith. Additional credits include Ark Media's The Act of Dreaming, Doug Liman's Justice, which premiered at Sundance, Patagonia Films' Newtok, Akicita: The Battle of Standing Rock, PBS's VOCES, and HBO's Rosa.
His production and editorial work also includes projects for clients such as Google, Airbnb, and the Getty Conservation Institute, with work distributed on Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max, and PBS. As editor, his work has screened at the Palm Springs International Film Festival, DOC NYC, Rockaway Film Festival/Cathode Cinema, and UnionDocs in New York City.
A bilingual Avid and Premiere editor with deep post-production fluency, Milenko is equally comfortable leading complex workflows and serving as a trusted creative collaborator in the edit room. He holds an MFA in Cinema from San Francisco State University and has written for Cahiers du Cinema and programmed shorts for the Slamdance Film Festival.
